About Randolph Hurst
William Randolph Hearst was the Rupert Murdoch of those times. He did not see eye to eye with Ismay, the Chairman of the White Star Line, who owned the Titanic. Therefore after the disaster, the American press began a witch hunt against Mr Ismay, causing him to retire due to obvious pressures in 1913.
