Visitors can check out the floating city or explore the habitats of wild animals, also represented by beautiful lanterns, in this magical glowing art project in Liverpool.
The entire exhibition will be backed by soundtracks, stories and poetry provided by a collection of contributors and artists, whose work will portray the City of Light, City of Sanctuary Liverpool.
Lantern workshops begin in the Palm House at Sefton Park on the 16TH February and the exhibition itself will continue until 24TH February. Ticket prices start at just £5.50 + booking fees.

Have a Bash at African Drumming
Where: International Slavery Museum
During Liverpool half term you’ll have the chance to meet a real live West African storyteller or, griot as they’re known. He’ll be hosting a workshop at the International Slavery Museum to demonstrate his trade and skills.
Karim Mbaye is a skilled musician who is happy to teach visitors how to use the Djembe (a traditional African drum) as well as other instruments for people to try, telling educational stories along the way.
Roll Up, Roll Up and Learn Some New Circus Skills
Where: Lady Lever Art Gallery
Taking inspiration from John Yeoman’s Foskett Family Circus, The Lady Lever Art Gallery is hosting a freefall Circus skills workshop, where everyone can clown around during half term.
Try your hand at juggling and see if you’ve got the balance for the trapeze or unicycle, at this literary-inspired afternoon of fun half term activities.
Visiting the Lady Lever Art Gallery is simple, just hop on the Wirral line train from James Street station to Port sunlight and in less than a minutes’ walk, you’ll see the stunning façade of the lovely Lady Lever Art Gallery building.
The Circus Skills workshop will be hosted on 19TH February and is free to attend.
Live a Day in the Life of a Wirral Viking

The movie will be showcased on the 21ST February at 14:00 in the Dr Martin Luther King Jr Building.
Enjoy A Marvellous Music EXPERIENCE in Liverpool

Members of the resident band from the British Music Experience will be hosting an intimate concert for groups attending the Museum of Liverpool during half term.
Join them and enjoy the show as they play a selection of chart-topping tracks from generations of the greatest hits live!
The event is completely free to attend and will be hosted for one day only on 24TH February at 12:00.

The Big Top is coming to Liverpool and bringing with it a whole load of performers, acrobats and the funniest clowns ever for your half term entertainment.
