The weather is becoming increasingly colder and the nights are becoming longer. With the season changing, it is with great pleasure that we can now introduce our new Autumn/Winter menu, with each dish lovingly prepared by our talented chefs.
Just some of the dishes to warm you up this season include a starter Bowland lamb hot pot, which offers a true taste of winter, and is served with braised red cabbage and buttered potatoes. Other starters on the menu include delicious braised pork cheeks served with an orange infused carrot puree, charred shallots and pickled cauliflower, or confit chicken croquettes with chilli chorizo jam and dressed baby leaves.
The chefs will make a main event out of their main courses, serving an oven-baked loin of venison, a juniper and sage jus, pickled kohlrabi and pomme puree. Packed full of flavour is the wild mushroom and goats cheese wellington with tarragon and mustard cream sauce and buttered baby vegetables. You can also experience the Cajun loin of monkfish, with courgette and carrot spaghetti, crispy leeks and a Cajun and lime cream.
There’s always room for dessert at Carpathia, because they offer flavours that will simply explode on your tongue. The indulgent chocolate brownie is served with a scrumptious pistachio ice cream, French meringue pieces and a salted caramel sauce, offering a dish you’ll want to eat for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
For those who prefer a fruity dessert, we recommend the classic lemon curd tart, which is served with strawberry crisps, ice cream and macerated berries. From one stunning dish to another, you can try the mango and ginger cheesecake, which is perfectly complemented by an orange sorbet and coriander cress.
