About The presidential
William Howard Taft was President of the United States of America at the time of RMS Titanic’s sinking. He is thought to have been heartbroken by the disaster, and wrote a eulogy for his former military aid, Major Archibald Butt, who died that fateful night, and stated that he felt as though he had lost a brother.
