Hosted on the picturesque Albert Dock, Folk on the Dock festival launched in Liverpool in 2016.  The festival successfully attracted over 80,000 music lovers to the dock across three folk-packed days.

A unique celebration of Liverpool’s role in exporting folk music across the globe, Folk on the Dock is an unmissable event for both Liverpool locals and music fans across the UK.

This year, attendees will also have the chance to enjoy the The Liverpool Shanty Festival, which will incorporate performances from international artists as they perform on boats and the main stage.

Entertainment from the Shanty Festival will continue into the evening at the Baltic Fleet pub, so it’s well worth heading down for a pint or two and more live entertainment.

Folk on the Dock is bursting with talent this year. With impressive headline acts, you can expect a truly unforgettable experience from start to finish.

Showcasing the best of the folk music scene, headliners this year include the multi-award winning Moulettes as well as Wildwood Kin, Lee Southall and Henry Priestman.

The Moulettes are set to fill the stage with the captivating talent that led them to Glastonbury, Bestival and even performing with icons including Mick Jagger and Nick Cave.

The dazzling Dock Stage will be hosted by legendary radio presenter Janice Long who will also introduce the crowd to a talented, up-and-coming act of her choice from Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts.
