Tales of Titanic Objects

Where: Merseyside Maritime Museum
When better to learn more about the Titanic than during a trip to 30 James Street – Home of the Titanic. The Merseyside Maritime Museum have been hosting long-running series of mini exhibitions showcasing various stories and object relating to the great shipping disaster.
This week there will be a chance to get your hands on some of the objects found amongst the wreckage of the Titanic and understand some of the lesser known facts about the sinking of the ship.
Bluecoat Print Fair
When: 10.30 pm – 17.00 pm 8th April
Where: Bluecoat, city centre
In the midst of celebrating their 300th birthday, the Bluecoat will be hosting a spectacular market style print fair in April.
An event that will explore all the different types of printing process’ used by artists from the past and present. A host of work will be on sale created by independent artists so you can expand your existing art collection with a one of a kind piece.
What’s more, you can unleash the artist inside you during family friendly workshops that allow you to create your very own masterpiece to take home. Great for making someone special a gift or for a souvenir of your visit to Liverpool.

For a piece of classical music that has been described as the earliest musical adventure into psychedelia, Symphonie Fantastique is a marvellous rendition of the composers love for the girl of his dreams.
Supposedly fuelled by opium, the French composer wrote the symphony to declare his passionate feelings.
The intensity of the composition is felt from start to finish, and the amazing acoustics and interior grandeur of Liverpool Philharmonic are not to be missed.
Salsa Classes and Social

Imagine coming to Liverpool a dancing novice and leaving with moves like Patrick Swayze. Make your way to Magnet for Salsa Classes and Social and those dreams could become a reality.
Your instructor is a man of the world, with feet that have danced right across it. Esteban Tejedor was born in Spain and has taken his Salsa dancing self as far as his talented feet will take him, all the way to Liverpool.

Check out comedy the way the professionals do at Hot Water Comedy Club’s As Seen on TV night. A night specially reserved for regulars of the Liverpool comedy circuit to test out their new material.
There will also be an appearance from a recognisable TV comedy personality, who will close the show with a 30 minute set of rip-roaring laughter.
A night of new talents testing new stuff and established acts making us laugh, As Seen on TV is the best place for a rib tickler of an evening.
